How the theory test works

    Your instructor books

    When you are ready in your training, your driving instructor books the test in the authority's test-booking system. Slots go first come, first served.

    Bring the right things

    Valid ID, your stamped and signed application (P23) and your signed lesson plan — plus MitID if the test is digital.

  3. 3

    25 questions — at most 5 errors

    The test consists of 25 questions with answer options for each. You may have at most 5 errors to pass.

  4. 4

    Result and fee

    In the digital test you get the result on screen immediately. The category B test fee is DKK 1,600 — if you fail, a new fee is due.
